65 Years of Friendship

The book brought back many pleasant memories of our adventures over the past 65 years. I feel honored to have known Jim growing up and now understand him much better. This is a fascinating and well written book. Our enduring friendship over the years means the world to me.
I gave the book to my 90 year old mother to read yesterday. She is halfway through and enjoying it very much. Being a very avid reader and picky about the books she reads that is a real compliment.
Thanks for the huge effort I know it took to write and put this book together.

  • Simon and Garfunkel said it best... Old friends, old friends, Sat on their parkbench like bookends A newspaper blown through the grass Falls on the round toes of the high shoes of the old friends Old friends, winter companions, the old men Lost in their overcoats, waiting for the sun The sounds of the city sifting through trees Settles like dust on the shoulders of the old friends Can you imagine us years from today, Sharing a parkbench quietly How terribly strange to be seventy Old friends, memory brushes the same years, Silently sharing the same fears Songwriters: Paul Simon Old Friends lyrics © Universal Music Publishing Group
